Former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has eclipsed Suresh Raina‘s record to emerge as the leading run-getter in IPL encounters between CSK and MI following his century knock.
He achieved this milestone during the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Heading into this match, Rohit Sharma was just 11 runs shy of overtaking Suresh Raina’s record, having scored 700 runs in Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians encounters.
Ambati Rayudu takes the third spot with 658 runs. Interestingly, he has donned the jerseys of both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
Next up at number five is MS Dhoni, accumulating 675 runs, followed by former Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard with 583 runs.
