IPL 2024: RCB Registers Embarrassing Record After Poor Bowling Performance Against KKR

RCB conceded most 70 plus total in powerplay in a single IPL season.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are undoubtedly having a terrible campaign in the IPL 2024. This time, instead of having some good records in their books, they are just setting some unwanted records.

They got underway against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, April 21, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and once again registered an unwanted record when they conceded 70 plus runs in the powerplay to KKR, becoming the team to concede the most 70+ runs in the powerplay in a single edition of the IPL.

RCB have conceded 70+ runs in the powerplay a total of four times in the eight matches they have played so far in the IPL 2024. They did it twice against KKR this season, once against the Mumbai Indians, and once again against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
