The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face its second IPL match with the Punjab Kings in the 17th season of the IPL. After RCB’s loss against CSK in the IPL 2024 opener match, they would like to open their account this season while PBKS who won their first game against DC would like to continue their winning run.

  1. Glenn Maxwell is also only 37 runs away from going past his RCB captain Faf du Plessis as they will be fighting to climb the list of most runs scored in T20 cricket. Maxwell has so far 9651 runs in 400 innings of his career while the latter has made 9687 runs in 338 innings.
  1. The Punjab Kings captain Dhawan is just two sixes away from completing 150 sixes in the IPL. Once he achieves this milestone, Dhawan will become the 10th Indian batter to reach 150 sixes in the IPL
  1.  Virat Kohli is just four catches short of surpassing Suresh Raina as the player with the most number of catches in IPL. Currently, the record is with Suresh Raina who has held 109 catches in 205 matches, whereas Kohli is at 106 in 237 games.
