Babar Azam Matches Virat Kohli’s T20I Record with Blistering Half-Century Against Ireland
Babar Azam equals Virat Kohli’s record of most 50+ scores in T20Is.
Pakistan flamboyant batter, Babar Azam etched his name in the record books once again, equalling Virat Kohli’s record for most 50+ scores in T20 Internationals. The feat came during the first T20I against Ireland at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club.
Babar Azam has a total of 38 scores of 50 or more in his 108 T20I innings, while the Indian batting stalwart, Virat Kohli achieved this feat in 109 T20I innings. Babar Azam also has three T20I centuries to his name.

This record-equalling performance comes on the heels of another achievement for Azam.
