Pakistan captain Babar Azam etched his name in T20I history books on Thursday, becoming only the second player to reach the coveted milestone of 4,000 runs in the format.

The flamboyant batter achieved this feat during the fourth and final T20I match between England and Pakistan at Kennington Oval in London on Thursday, May 30.

The Pakistan skipper reached the landmark in his 119th T20I appearance, having batted in 112 innings. He now sits just 17 runs behind the current record holder, Virat Kohli, who has a total of 4,037 runs.
