Punjab Kings trolled Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi after Arshdeep Singh’s magnificent final over against Australia.
The Indian Premier League franchise, Punjab Kings, took a dig at Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi after the young Indian bowling sensation Arshdeep Singh defended 10 runs in the last over against Australia in the fifth and final T20 of the series at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
In a nail-biter between India and Australia, with just 10 runs needed in the last over for Australia to win, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav trusted Arshdeep Singh with the ball. He delivered, giving away only four runs and picking up the wicket of Matthew Wade, the last of the visitors.
Arshdeep Singh’s home in the Indian Premier League, Punjab Kings, posted a clip of him getting Matthew Wade out on their official Twitter handle, along with the caption;

For the unversed, Punjab Kings are throwing a subtle jab at Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi. This goes back to the T20 World Cup 2021 semi-final, where Matthew Wade smacked the tall left-arm pacer for a hat-trick of sixes, helping Australia make it to the semis.
