During a Caribbean Premier League game on August 26, West Indies batter Johnson Charles had a bit of a scare. He was struck on the helmet when he attempted a reverse scoop off Dwayne Bravo’s bowling.
It all happened during the ninth match of the tournament between Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders. Ball, after striking the helmet, detached and dropped onto the ground. Although Johnson Charles appeared unhurt, a prompt concussion assessment was carried out.
