Virat Kohli Returns to India Five Days Ahead of IPL 2024 Kickoff
Virat Kohli has returned to India ahead of IPL 2024.
Following a two-month paternity break, Virat Kohli arrived back in India early Sunday and is set to rejoin his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), in preparation for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
Having skipped the five-Test series against England to be by his wife’s side for the birth of their second child in London, Kohli has now returned to India and is set to join the RCB squad for the upcoming IPL 2024, which kicks off on March 22.
Virat Kohli is likely to make an appearance at the unboxing event organized by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 19 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The famous singer Alak Walker will be performing in the much-anticipated event.
Kohli’s eager to jump back into the RCB action, picking up right from where he left off last time. Even though the team didn’t quite make it to the big leagues, Kohli himself had a stellar run, scoring a whopping 639 runs from 14 games, with two centuries under his belt, all while maintaining a solid strike rate of 139.82.
