‘There’s Too Much Negativity in India’ – MS Dhoni Reveals Why He Isn’t Active on Social Media
MS Dhoni remains inactive on social media, especially Twitter because of the negativity in India.
MS Dhoni, the enigmatic former Indian captain, has shed light on his limited social media presence. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Dhoni maintains a low profile online, particularly on Twitter.
In a recent podcast on the Dubai Eye 103.8 YouTube channel, Dhoni revealed his reasoning for avoiding Twitter.
“I prefer Instagram over Twitter,” he stated. “On Twitter, I felt there’s just too much negativity, especially in India. It seems like something always turns into a controversy.”
MS Dhoni recently suffered heartbreak as CSK lost to RCB in a virtual knockout game at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, resulting in their elimination from IPL 2024.
However, a CSK official has confirmed that Dhoni has not yet revealed his retirement plans, leaving fans to speculate about his return for the next season.
Regardless of his on-field future, Dhoni’s perspective on social media offers a glimpse into the pressures faced by even the most celebrated athletes in today’s hyper-connected world.
