Australia’s batting sensation Tess Flintoff, who holds the record for the fastest fifty in Women’s Big Bash league has replaced Ellyse Perry in Birmingham Phoenix Squad in the Hundred.
Perry, who was set to captain Birmingham Phoenix, suffered a knee injury on the Ireland tour and according to a report of Cricket Australia, the star all-rounder needs around six weeks of recovery.
Apart from Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy, who was set to represent Northern Superchargers also ruled out of the Hundred 2023 season due to a fracture to her left index finger. Phoebe Litchfield has replaced her in the Superchargers squad.
