SA vs IND: Lungi Ngidi Ruled Out of T20I Series Against India

Lungi Ngidi ruled out of the T20I series against India due to a left lateral ankle sprain.

South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out of the three-match T20I series against India due to a left lateral ankle sprain.

The 27-year-old right-arm pacer was named in both T20I and Test teams for the India series. But he sprained his left ankle during training and was released from the camp.

In the absence of Kagiso Rabada, Western Province’s Beuran Hendricks has been brought in to directly replace Ngidi. Hendricks will bolster South Africa’s formidable pace attack alongside Coetzee, Williams, Jansen, and Phehlukwayo for the upcoming T20I series against India.
