SA vs IND: Gerlad Coetzee Ruled Out of Second Test Against India
Gerlad Coetzee Ruled Out of Second Test Against India due to pelvic inflammation
South African pacer Gerald Coetzee will miss the second Test against India due to pelvic inflammation, a result of the recent Centurion Test. The Cricket South Africa (CSA) are yet to announce his replacement for the Cape Town Test.
With Temba Bavuma already out, Coetzee becomes the second South African player to miss the upcoming Test.
Coetzee, who played a pivotal role with one wicket in South Africa’s win against India, was a crucial part of their four-bowler pace attack.
South Africa secured a commanding 1-0 lead in the two-match series after winning the first Test by an innings and a 32-run margin. The second Test is scheduled to kick off on January 3 in Cape Town.
