Rishabh Pant to Play IPL 2024 As An Impact Player for Delhi Capitals
Rishabh Pant missed the entire IPL 2023 due to the multiple injuries he sustained during an accident.
Delhi Capitals batter Rishabh Pant is set to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, but as an impact player, RevSportz reported on Monday, December 11.
Earlier in November, the former India captain and Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly stated that Rishabh Pant is in good shape and will be part of the team in the IPL 2024.
Rishabh Pant has been leading Delhi Capitals since the start of the 2021 IPL season. However, he was forced to sit out of IPL 2023 due to multiple injuries he sustained during a life-threatening road accident in December last year.
The wicket-keeper batter is expected to return to competitive action early next year and there is speculation about his international return during a home Test series against England in early 2024.
