Ravindra Jadeja Deletes His Instagram Account Amid CSK–RR Trade Rumours Involving Sanju Samson
Ravindra Jadeja’s Instagram disappearance sparks speculation as reports suggest a possible IPL 2026 trade with Rajasthan Royals for Sanju Samson.
Ravindra Jadeja’s sudden disappearance from Instagram has left fans confused, coming right when reports of a possible trade between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have started heating up.
The star all-rounder, who has been an integral part of CSK’s success, has reportedly deactivated his Instagram account just as talks of a high-profile swap involving Sanju Samson surfaced.
According to reports, both franchises have been in serious discussions over the past few days. While the move once sounded far-fetched, it has now become one of the biggest talking points of the IPL 2026 pre-season.
Both Jadeja and Samson are valued at ₹18 crore each, making it a rare case of a like-for-like exchange in terms of price and star power.
However, now there are reports that Chennai Super Kings are set to trade Jadeja along with Sam Curran or Matheesha Pathirana to receive Samson in return.
Chennai, though, is firm that Jadeja alone is a fair trade for the Royals’ captain. Reports suggest RR owner Manoj Badale is personally overseeing discussions in Mumbai, while CSK management has already spoken to Jadeja regarding the possible move.
The Chennai camp reportedly wants to handle the situation with full respect to their senior player, who has been part of the franchise since 2012.
Meanwhile, the Royals are also believed to have approached other franchises like Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders, though none have shown major interest yet.
