Prithvi Shaw Apologises to Musheer Khan After Ugly On-Field Fight
Prithvi Shaw apologises to Musheer Khan after their on-field clash, burying the hatchet ahead of the Ranji Trophy season.
Prithvi Shaw has resolved his recent on-field clash with Musheer Khan during a warm-up match ahead of the Ranji Trophy season. The tension ended on Day Three when Shaw approached Musheer to apologise.
After Arshin Kulkarni was dismissed, Shaw walked over to Musheer, put his arm around his shoulder, and started a friendly conversation.
Musheer responded by placing his hand on Shaw’s waist, and the two shared a relaxed moment, signalling that the conflict was over.
A source told the Times of India, “Prithvi admitted his mistake and told Musheer, ‘I see myself as an elder brother to you.’ Things are all good now.”
Shaw has been in the headlines recently for his stellar 181 against Mumbai, his former domestic team. Despite the on-field drama, his focus is now on representing Maharashtra in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season.
Maharashtra is in Group B and will start their campaign against Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram from October 15-18. The squad also features India batter Ruturaj Gaikwad.
The selectors opted for experience, choosing Pradeep Dadhe over Rajvardhan Hangargekar. Shaw joined Maharashtra after a challenging spell with Mumbai, where he lost his spot in the red-ball side.
