Pat Cummins Picks All-Time India-Australia ODI XI, Leaves Out Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma

Pat Cummins has revealed his all-time India-Australia ODI XI ahead of the upcoming series, and his choices have sparked plenty of debate. The Australian captain, currently sidelined with injury, surprised fans by leaving out both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from his lineup.

A Star-Studded Lineup

The opening pair features Australia’s David Warner alongside India’s great Sachin Tendulkar. The middle order includes Ricky Ponting, Steve Smith, Shane Watson, and Michael Bevan — all known for their match-winning abilities.

MS Dhoni was Cummins’ choice for wicketkeeper, recognized for his calm leadership and finishing skills. The bowling attack is a dream combination of pace and spin: Brett Lee, Shane Warne, Zaheer Khan, and Glenn McGrath.

With just three Indians Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Zaheer Khan in the XI, many fans noted how heavily the list leaned toward Australian legends.

Cummins clarified that his selection included only retired players, which explains the absence of modern stars. Even so, the mix of legends he picked makes for a powerhouse team.
