Pakistan to Host Sri Lanka in an ODI Series For The First Time Since 2019
Pakistan to host Sri Lanka for three-match ODI series in Rawalpindi this November, first bilateral ODI series since 2019.
Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series in November 2025, adding to an already packed home season. All three games will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on November 11, 13, and 15.
The series will follow South Africa’s all-format tour of Pakistan in October and come just before a T20I tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. It will also be Pakistan’s maiden home tri-series.
This will be Sri Lanka’s first ODI series in Pakistan since 2019, when the hosts won 2-0. The two teams last met in the format at the 2023 World Cup, where Pakistan chased down Sri Lanka by six wickets.
Pakistan come into the contest on the back of a successful run, having recently won a tri-series against Afghanistan and UAE. Before Sri Lanka’s arrival, their focus will be on the Asia Cup 2025, scheduled in the UAE from September 9.
