Later, they surprised everyone by removing Rohit Sharma, their five-time IPL-winning captain, and picking Hardik Pandya as the new captain, overlooking long-time players like Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav, the new T20I captain for India, has seen his stock rise. Mumbai Indians will be keen to keep him, especially since there are reports he’s unhappy and might be considering a move to another team for a captaincy opportunity. They’ll work hard to keep him.
