Shane Warne's Daughter Brooke Warne shared a heartfelt message expressing her longing for his presence
Two years have passed since the iconic Australian leg spinner Shane Warne left us. On the second anniversary of his passing, Warne’s daughter, Brooke Warne, shared a heartfelt message expressing her longing for his presence.
On March 4, 2022, the world mourned the loss of Warne, who tragically passed away at the age of 52. His sudden death was attributed to a heart attack resulting from coronary artery atherosclerosis, during his vacation on the beautiful Thai island of Ko Samui.
Tragically, he departed in a deluxe villa at the Samujana Villas resort, where despite immediate efforts, emergency medical aid couldn’t prevent his passing. The confirmation of Warne’s death by his management and family has cast a pall of sadness over the worldwide cricketing community and his admirers.
Brooke reflected on the emotional toll of the past two years since Warne’s passing, sharing how challenging it has been for her. She fondly remembered her childhood, filled with moments of watching the British period crime drama television series Peaky Blinders with her father.
Here’s what Brooke wrote on Instagram:
“2 years today Dad. It’s been the slowest and quickest 2 years without you. I feel like you were just here being silly with us and talking about how good the new season of Peaky Blinders is, and we will watch the next episode together when you come home. Life really doesn’t make sense without you here. We try and do you proud every day. I miss you, I love you forever.”
