‘Karma Is Unforgiving’ – Indian Pacer’s Insta Story Hints at Rift with Team Management
Mukesh Kumar shared a cryptic Instagram story after being ignored for the England Test series, sparking rumours of a rift with the team management.

Team India is ready to face England in a five-match Test series starting June 20 at Headingley. With senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and R Ashwin retiring from Test cricket, this series marks the beginning of a new era for the Indian red-ball team.
Mukesh Kumar’s Instagram Story Sparks Speculation
While many fresh faces have been added to the squad, some consistent domestic performers are still missing from the team. One of them is fast bowler Mukesh Kumar, who recently shared a cryptic story on Instagram that caught everyone’s attention.
In his story, Mukesh wrote:
“Karma bides its time. You will always have to watch out. Karma is unforgiving and always gets payback.”
Although he did not name anyone, many believe the message hints at his disappointment over not being picked in the Test squad, even after performing well in domestic cricket and for India A.
Impressive Domestic Record, But Still Ignored
Mukesh Kumar has a strong record in first-class cricket, with 210 wickets in 52 matches at an average of 21.55.
He has also played three Test matches for India, taking seven wickets. Recently, he was part of the India A tour to England and picked up three wickets in the warm-up match in Canterbury.
Despite this, the selectors chose to add Harshit Rana to the squad as a backup ahead of the first Test. Rana has done well in white-ball cricket, but he hasn’t played India A matches yet, raising questions about the selection process.
