Virat Kohli, on Thursday (May 9), displayed his aggressive side once again as he gave Rilee Rossouw a send-off after Karn Sharma dismissed the South African batter during the IPL 2024 match between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Dharamsala.
On the final ball of the ninth over, Karn Sharma removed Rossouw after the latter hit one straight to Will Jacks at long-on. And as soon as Jacks caught the ball, an enthusiastic Virat Kohli celebrated the big breakthrough by imitating the same ‘gun celebration’ that Rossouw did earlier.
However, it didn’t go down well with the fans as they believe that Virat Kohli did that celebration to mock Rilee Rossouw. Some fans are even calling for BCCI to ban Kohli, citing his aggressive send-off. They compare it to young Harshit Rana, who was heavily penalized by BCCI for a flying kiss send-off, resulting in a one-match ban.
