IPL 2024: Shubman Gill Joins Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad
Shubman Gill has arrived in Ahmedabad ahead of IPL 2024.
Gujarat Titans’ (GT) captain, Shubman Gill, arrived in Ahmedabad ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season on Monday, March 18th.
Shubman Gill has been appointed as the captain of Gujarat Titans after Hardik Pandya left the franchise and moved to Mumbai Indians to lead them.
It will be interesting to see how the young Shubman Gill will lead the team in the IPL, considered one of the most competitive franchise cricket tournaments.
Gujarat Titans entered the Indian Premier League in 2022 and clinched the title that same year under the leadership of Hardik Pandya.
However, in the 2023 season, although they reached the finals, they were defeated by the Chennai Super Kings.
Gujarat Titans will open their IPL 2024 campaign against the Mumbai Indians on March 24th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
