IPL 2024: Mayank Yadav Declared Fit, Set to Play Against Mumbai Indians
Mayank Yadav has been declared fit and he is likely to play against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday.
Lucknow Super Giants’ fast bowler, Mayank Yadav, is set to re-enter the team lineup after passing fitness tests, just in time for LSG’s match against the Mumbai Indians on April 30.
Mayank Yadav, known for his sheer pace, has been out since his third game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 versus the Gujarat Titans on April 7.
Since his IPL debut in LSG’s match against Punjab Kings, Mayank has impressed everyone. The speedster consistently hits speeds above 150 Kmph, except for the over against Gujarat Titans where he was injured.
According to a report from ESPNCricinfo, Mayank has passed all fitness tests ahead of the team’s upcoming game against Mumbai Indians at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, April 30. He is slated to make his return for the match against Mumbai.
Mayank has featured in three games for LSG this season, claiming six wickets overall – three against PBKS and three against RCB. He played a crucial role in dismantling Punjab’s chase of 200, with PBKS cruising at 102/0 before Mayank dismissed Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, and Jitesh Sharma.
