Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 25th match of IPL 2024 at the Wankhede stadium on 11th April, Thursday.

Mumbai Indians lost their first 3 matches before beating DC here by 29 runs, MI will be looking forward to getting a consecutive win. 

RCB has lost 3 back to back matches and they have won just 1 match out of 5 matches they have played so far. 

Romario Shepard: The Finisher

Romario Shepard played as a finisher for MI in the previous match, coming after Tim David and he immediately left an impact by scoring 39 runs off 10 balls.

Romario took Anirich Nortje to the cleaners by smashing 32 runs in his over, which was the last over of the innings. MI will expect a similar performance from him against RCB, additionally, he gives MI the option of an extra bowler.

Piyush Chawla’s Form a Concern for MI

Piyush Chawla has been struggling for MI this year, his last season was quite successful but this time batters have played him way too comfortably.

In MI’s previous match, Chawla went for 32 runs in 2 overs, MI might replace him with Shams Mulani or Kumar Kartikeya.

Nehal Wadhera to Remain on Bench

Nehal Wadhera who was a consistent performer for MI last year has not got a single match this year, with Surya’s return it is unlikely that he will get a chance anytime soon.
