IPL 2024 – Match 12, GT vs SRH: Sai Kishore Out, Jayant Yadav In? Gujarat Titans Probable Playing 11 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Gujarat Titans (GT) to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 31st March, Sunday in a day game of IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

This will be the second match of GT here at their home ground, they won their first match against MI and lost the second game to CSK in Chepauk. SRH won their previous match against MI at their home ground but they had lost their first match to KKR at Edens.

Kane Williamson is Expected to Play:

GT made a brave decision to not play Kane Williamson in their first two matches but now with their batting failing in both games, they might play Kane, who can replace Spencer Johnson in the playing 11.

Kane can be slotted at number 3 with Sudarshan going out and being replaced by the power hitter Abhinav Manohar.

Jayant Yadav Can Replace Sai Kishore:

Sai Kishore who was taken to the cleaners by Shivam Dube in the previous match, could be replaced by Jayant Yadav who is an off-spinner and can be a great option for GT to bowl against the likes of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.

If GT wants to continue with Sai Kishore then they might drop Umesh to play both Sai Kishore and Jayant Jayant.

GT Needs Miller and Gill to Come Good:

David Miller who has been a consistent performer for GT in the last two seasons has struggled a bit in the first two matches and Shubman who smashed 890 runs in the previous season, has not looked at his best so far.

GT will need both of them to do well with the bat and help Gujarat in scoring big, For GT Wriddhiman Saha also needs to step up with the bat and provide an explosive start to the team.
