IPL 2024: LSG Assistant Coach Breaks Silence on Clash Between Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul

The recent incident between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner and captain KL Rahul, where Sanjiv Goenka was seen reprimanding Rahul following their 10-wicket loss to the Sunrisers Hyderabad, has been a topic of discussion in the cricketing world.

Earlier reports suggested a rift between Goenka and Rahul, with speculation that Rahul might even step down as captain. However, Lance Klusener has refuted these claims, stating that the incident was simply a “robust discussion” between two passionate sports lovers.

“I see no problem in a robust discussion between two cricket lovers. For us, it is a storm in a teacup. It’s not a big thing for us,” Klusener clarified during a pre-match press conference before the DC vs LSG match.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul is yet to join the team in Delhi. In fact he has not been seen anywhere since the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The question of whether he will return or if someone else will lead the LSG in the remaining two games remains uncertain.
