The most successful franchise of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians have found the right replacement for West Indies veteran Kieron Pollard, who announced retirement from IPL ahead of the 16th edition of the cash-rich league.

Mumbai Indians have signed the young Australian all-rounder in the mini-auction, who has become the second most expensive player in IPL history after the five-time champions purchased him for a whopping price of Rs. 17.50 crore.

Mumbai engaged in intense bidding with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Delhi Capitals before finally acquiring the services of an Australian all-rounder.

Notably, Sam Curran’s bid of INR 18.50 crore by Punjab Kings (PBKS) is the only bid in IPL history that is higher than Cameron Green’s bid.
