CSK vs DC: Quick Highlights

Earlier in the match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and offered MS Dhoni and boys to bat first. Chennai, after putting to bat first, got off to a disappointing start as their opener Faf du Plessis went out for a duck and in no time Ruturaj was sent back to the pavilion for just 5 runs by Chris Woakes.

Moeen Ali (36 off 24) and Suresh Raina (54 off 36) then took the charge of the team and played some brilliant cricket to take the team near a good total. Ambati Rayudu also provided a much-needed contribution to his team as he smashed 23 runs off 16 deliveries.

Dhoni (0 off 2), however, lost control on the very second ball he faced and got bowled by Avesh Khan. Sam Curran (34 off 15) and Ravindra Jadeja (26 off 17) then took the responsibilities on their shoulders and helped their side post a competitive total of 188 runs on board.

In reply, Prithvi Shaw (72 off 38) and Shikhar Dhawan (85 off 54 balls) has helped Delhi Capitals overhaul Chennai Super Kings’ total of 188 and pick up a commanding seven-wicket win in Mumbai.
