In the 37th match of the 13th season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 7 wickets. Batting first after winning the toss in the match played in Abu Dhabi, Chennai gave a target of 126 runs. In response, Rajasthan achieved the target at the loss of 3 wickets in 17.3 overs. Rajasthan has defeated Chennai for the second time in the season. With the 7th defeat in the season, Chennai’s road to play-offs has been difficult in the tournament. At the same time, Rajasthan has reached 5th place in the points table.

Jos Butler made his 11th fifty in the IPL. He scored an unbeaten 70 off 48 balls. Buttler also made an unbeaten 98-run partnership with Steve Smith for the fourth wicket. Smith scored 26 not out. Both scored 45 runs in the last 5 overs to win their team. Deepak Chahar of Chennai took 2 and Josh Hazlewood took 1 wicket.
