The participation of a US player will be seen for the first time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wants to take on fast bowler Ali Khan (Ali Khan) for the upcoming season. 29-year-old Khan will be the first player from the USA to feature in the IPL.

According to media reports, 2-time IPL champion KKR has selected Khan over England’s fast bowler Harry Gurney, but permission is yet to be received from IPL. Gurney has to undergo a shoulder operation, due to which he has withdrawn from the IPL and the Vitality Blast League in England.

Ali Khan was part of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) team which won the Caribbean Premier League title on Thursday. He took 8 wickets with an economy rate of 7.43. Khan did well in the 2018 Canada Global T20 too.

Recently Dwayne Bravo, in one of his Instagram stories, posted a video with Khan, Brendon McCullum and a few more inside a plane with the caption ‘Next stop Dubai’.
