IND vs AUS: Ravichandran Ashwin has shared an Instagram video a day after team India started their training in Australia. The video in which Ashwin can be seen bowling to Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane.
IND vs AUS: Team India has reached Sydney and started training in quarantine for the upcoming mega battle, starting from November 27. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin has shared an Instagram video a day after team India started their training in Australia. The video in which Ashwin can be seen bowling to Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. The left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja can also be seen in the video, saying something to bowling coach Bharat Arun. In the background, pacer Mohammed Shami can also be seen getting ready for his turn.
“Right arm over !! Kangaroo land!,” Ravichandran has captioned the videos.
R Ashwin directly flew to Australia from the UAE after the completion of the latest edition of the Indian Premier League. He was the part of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020. He played a key role in his team’s journey to the final. Ravichandran Ashwin took 13 wickets in 15 games at an economy of 7.66.
The India Team is serving the mandatory 14-day quarantine period after arriving in Sydney. However, they are allowed to start their training after testing negative in their first Covid-19 test.
The most awaited battle between Australia and India will start from November 27 with a 3-match ODI series.
The ODI series against Australia is India’s first series after their series against South Africa got cancelled in the second week of March, just before the coronavirus lockdown paused all sporting events around the world.
