ICC World Cup 2023: Rachin Ravindra Names His Favourite Cricketers and It’s Not Sachin Tendulkar or Rahul Dravid

Rachin Ravindra picked two names when asked about his favourite cricketers.

Rachin Ravindra, who played a spectacular unbeaten innings of 123 runs from just 96 balls, leading New Zealand to a resounding nine-wicket victory in the opening match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, named his favourite cricketers.

Rachin Ravindra, who assumed the number three position in New Zealand’s batting lineup during the World Cup opener, in the absence of their regular captain, Kane Williamson, named both Kane Williamson, their New Zealand captain, and former Indian captain Virat Kohli as two of his favourite players in the modern day cricket.

With his century against England, Rachin Ravindra etched his name in the record books, becoming the youngest and quickest New Zealand batter to score an ODI World Cup century. Furthermore, he and New Zealand opener Devon Conway combined to form the highest partnership ever seen in New Zealand’s World Cup history.
