Fan at Rawalpindi Stadium Threatens Babar Azam During PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I
Babar Azam could score only 14 runs from 13 balls against New Zealand.
Pakistan beat New Zealand by seven wickets in the second T20 match of the five-match series on Saturday, April 20, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in a one-sided affair.
Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for just 90 runs, with Shaheen Shah Afridi picking up the wicket haul, while Mohammed Amir, Abrar Ahmed, and Shadab Khan took two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan chased down the target in just 12.1 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan smashing 45 runs from just 34 balls, unbeaten. However, their captain, Babar Azam, could not do much as he was dismissed after scoring 14 runs from 13 balls.
Amid all this, one of the fans in the cricket stadium was spotted with a unique poster threatening Babar Azam to perform in this match against New Zealand.
Notably, it was an off day for Babar Azam, as he has been in fine form in the last five-match T20 series. He played against New Zealand in their home series and will be looking to bounce back stronger going forward in the series.
