Faf du Plessis to Join Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2020 Playoffs
The former South African captain Faf du Plessis is about to make a debut in PSL 2020. He will join Peshawar Zalmi as a replacement of Kieron Pollard. Not only Faf Duplessis, but 21 other foreign players have also confirmed that they are going to play the remaining four matches of PSL 2020.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is usually played around the month of February and March every year. As scheduled, it was held in February and March earlier this year but due to the sudden coronavirus outbreak, the tournament’s playoff was postponed.
However, now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for PSL playoffs. The remaining two qualifiers of PSL, an eliminator and the final are to be held in Karachi.
The first qualifier match and eliminator match will be played on November 14. The second qualifier will be held on November 15, while the final match of PSL 2020 will be played on November 17.

Faf du Plessis will turn up for Peshawar Zalmi in the upcoming playoffs of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He has been added to the squad as a replacement for Kieron Pollard, as Pollard will be travelling to New Zealand for the West Indies.
Apart from Faf du Plessis, Dane Vilas ( Lahore Qalandars), David Wiese ( Lahore Qalandars), Cameron Delport (Karachi Kings), Imran Tahir (Multan Sultans), Hardus Viljoen (Peshawar Zalmi) and Rilee Rossouw (Multan Sultans), are the other South Africa players who will be playing in the upcoming games.

Faf du Plessis recently opened up on his debut in PSL 2020. He is very excited about the tournament. He said he has fond memories of playing in Pakistan back in 2017.
“I am very excited to join Peshawar Zalmi for the playoff stage games of HBL PSL 2020. I have fond memories of playing in Pakistan when I toured with the ICC World XI in 2017 and I am sure this experience, although different due to Covid-19, will be a memorable one as well,” said Faf du Plessis after agreeing to play for Zalmi.
