Deepak Hooda tops the list of likely exits after a poor run in IPL 2025, scoring only 31 runs in seven games. The franchise is also set to move on from Vijay Shankar, as part of a broader plan to reshape their middle order.
Among overseas stars, Devon Conway is expected to be released after a below-par season, where he managed just 156 runs in six matches. English all-rounder Sam Curran, who failed to deliver consistent performances with both bat and ball, could also be released or traded.
A major talking point has been the potential trade of Ravindra Jadeja to Rajasthan Royals in exchange for Sanju Samson. While negotiations are still ongoing, this move signals a big shift in CSK’s leadership and strategy going forward.
