Batting first, Fortune Barishal set a challenging total of 197/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Kyle Mayers was the standout performer for Barishal, smashing an unbeaten 61 off just 29 balls, including 1 four and 7 sixes, at a striking rate of 210.34. Along with him, Tamim Iqbal (40 off 34) and Shanto (41 off 30) provided solid contributions at the top of the order.

However, the middle-order faltered as Mahmudullah (2 off 4) and Faheem Ashraf (20 off 6) couldn’t capitalize on the start. The lower order couldn’t provide much support as they finished with 197/5.
