Bangladesh Announced 15-member squad for T20 World Cup 2024
Bangladesh has revealed its 15-player squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA. Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead the team for the first time, with Shakib Al Hasan also included.
The selectors have opted for young pacer Tanzim Hasan in the squad after featuring in just two matches against Zimbabwe in the recent series. Meanwhile, experienced Mahmudullah has made a comeback after being omitted from last year’s ODI World Cup squad.
Bangladesh finds themselves in Group D alongside Sri Lanka, South Africa, Nepal, and the Netherlands. Their campaign kicks off against Sri Lanka on June 7 in Dallas. Teams can make unlimited changes to their squad until May 25.
