Bangladesh Announce 16-Men Squad for India Test Series

Bangladesh named 16-Men squad for two-match Test series against India.

Bangladesh Cricket Team has announced a 16-member squad for the two-match Test series against India. Najmul Shanto, fresh off their remarkable series win in Pakistan, will be captaining the Tigers. 

India’s home season kicks off with the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai on September 19, followed by the second Test in Kanpur starting on September 27. 

Bangladesh has only made one change to their squad from the Pakistan tour, with Jaker Ali stepping in for the injured Shoriful Islam. The Tigers achieved their first series victory in Pakistan, defeating them 2-0 in Rawalpindi last month. 

India last hosted Bangladesh in the 2019-20 season, winning the Test series 2-0 against the visitors.
