Asia Cup 2023: Shreyas Iyer To Miss Super 4 Match Against Sri Lanka
Shreyas Iyer has been adviced rest by the BCCI Medical Team to fully recover from back spasm
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) provided a significant update on Shreyas Iyer, who missed the Super 4 match against Pakistan due to a back spasm.
As per the BCCI, Shreyas Iyer is now declared fit, with no serious concerns. However, as a precautionary measure, he will sit out the Super Four match against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, scheduled to be held at the R.Premadasa Stadium.
Shreyas Iyer’s absence from the match against Sri Lanka means that Ishan Kishan will remain at number five, while KL Rahul will stay at number four in India’s playing XI against Sri Lanka.
