IPL 2024: Another Injury Blow to CSK as Pacer Mustafizur Rahman Taken Off the Field on Stretcher
After Dilshan Madushanka, now Mustafizur Rahman suffered injury ahead of IPL 2024.
Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) woes deepen as injuries hit their squad before the start of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, with pacer Mustafizur Rahman being the latest victim.
Mustafizur Rahman, affectionately dubbed The Fizz, battled severe cramps during the final ODI match in Chattogram after a commendable performance of two wickets for 39 runs in nine overs.
Furthermore, he collapsed after completing the 42nd over of the Sri Lankan innings. They handed him the ball again for the 48th over, but the guy, only 28, couldn’t even start the first delivery, so Soumya Sarkar had to take over.
The CSK pacer was stretched off the field as he was in considerable pain.
With Dilshan Madushanka’s availability uncertain for the first half of IPL 2024, CSK now pins their hopes on Mustafizur Rahman’s injury not being severe, aiming for his participation throughout the season.
