Punjab Kings Sack Wasim Jaffer as Batting Consultant Ahead of IPL 2024

Punjab Kings have parted ways with their batting consultant Wasim Jaffer as they gear up for IPL 2024. Sanjay Bangar, the newly appointed cricket director, will now assume the role of batting coach, bringing his expertise from previous stints with RCB and Team India.

Prior to IPL 2023, Punjab Kings made massive changes to their coaching setup, bringing in Trevor Bayliss as head coach to replace Anil Kumble. The franchise further strengthened their coaching team by appointing Charl Langeveldt as bowling coach and Brad Haddin as assistant coach.
