IPL 2023 Auction: 3 Players Delhi Capitals (DC) Can Target
Top 3 Players DC might target in IPL 2023 auction.
Delhi Capitals, who finished the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the fifth position, with seven wins in 14 games parted ways with only five players ahead of the IPL 2023 auction and kept their core intact.
They will be heading into the marquee event with a purse of INR 19.45 crore and will look to fill the voids in their squad with some top-quality signings. Here are three players that Delhi will look to target in the auction of the cash-rich league.
1. Harry Brook
By now, all those who have followed international cricket closely must have heard this name. The Yorkshire young gun has been one of the best and most consistent batters across formats for England this year.
Brook was the third-highest run scorer in the seven-match T20I series against Pakistan with 238 runs in 6 innings. He also clobbered three centuries in three-match Test series against Pakistan in Asian conditions.
His ability to attack the bowlers, especially spinners, and strike boundaries regularly will be of great importance for Delhi Capitals, who are currently looking to fill that void.

2. Adil Rashid
The English leg spinner confirmed his availability in the upcoming auction for the 2023 edition of the cash-rich league. Given, Delhi Capitals doesn’t have any leg spinner in the squad, they might go after him in the auction.
He had a great T20 World Cup campaign with England, where he churned out some stellar bowling performances against India and Pakistan in the semifinal and summit clash of the tournament respectively.

3. Rilee Rossouw
The South African batter has been in great form ever since he made a comeback in international cricket earlier this year. He also became the first South African player to hit a century in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Given Mitchell Marsh, who was ruled out of the entire BBL season owing to injury, has been an injury-prone player, Delhi Capitals might look at Roussouw to be his backup for the number-three slot.
He will be a great addition to the Delhi Capitals squad and his experience will boost the middle order, which currently lacks experience. He will complement captain Rishabh Pant in the middle order.
