I feel the Mumbai Indians Have the Upper Hand: Gautam Gambhir

The IPL 2020 opening match will be played between MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and four times trophy holder Mumbai Indians (MI). Now former KKR captain, Gautam Gambhir believes that Mumbai Indians will have a heavy upper hand in the match against Chennai. Explaining further, Gambhir also said that what makes MI really strong is their strong pace battery where premier Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah and New Zealand pace sensation Trent Boult are expected to share the new ball.

During a TV show, Gambhir said that for Mumbai, both Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult will bowl together. It will be difficult to face both of them. This will be a big challenge for CSK, especially when number three batsman Suresh Raina is not present in the team.

Gambhir also mentioned the drawbacks of CSK and said that this team’s opener batsman Shane Watson has been away from cricket for a long time and he has come to play IPL. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how he will face Boult and Bumrah. At the same time, it has to be seen who starts the innings with Shane for CSK. He clearly stated that Mumbai Indians will have the upper hand.
