Mumbai Indians star player Suryakumar Yadav is playing brilliant and match-winning innings one after the other. Due to his consistent performance, he has now become a crucial part of Mumbai Indians.
Once again he proved his worthwhile playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday. He played a beautiful inning of 79 runs off 43 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes and remained unbeaten. He also single-handedly won Mumbai in the 48th match of the IPL on Wednesday. It was his third half-century in the ongoing tournament (IPL-2020).
However, Suryakumar’s innings against RCB was somewhat different, which he indicated after finishing the match. Actually, the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) announced the Indian squad for the Australia tour on Monday and the selectors didn’t name him in the team despite witnessing his brilliant batting skills in the ongoing tournament in the UAE.
Meanwhile, after witnessing his match-winning knock, Team India’s coach Ravi Shastri assured Suryakumar Yadav to keep patience.
Now, India head coach with a hint about asking the Mumbai batsman for patience for a national team call-up tweeted:
“Surya namaskar. Stay strong and patient @surya_14kumar #MIvsRCB,” Shastri tweeted.
The veteran off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh once again urged BCCI to watch him play on Wednesday (October 28). He again took to Twitter to wrote, “Class innings yet again Suryakumar, hope selectors are watching him play..”
