T20 cricket is built for big hits and fast runs. Over the years, teams have pushed the scoring limits higher and higher. Here is a look at the top five highest scores in men’s T20 Internationals.
1. Zimbabwe – 344/4 vs Gambia, 2024
Zimbabwe broke all records in Nairobi on 23 October 2024. Led by Sikandar Raza’s blistering 133 not out off just 43 balls, they piled up 344 for 4. It is the highest-ever T20I score in history and a mark that will be tough to beat.
2. Nepal – 314/3 vs Mongolia, 2023
Nepal stunned the cricket world at the Asian Games in Hangzhou. They smashed 314 for 3 against Mongolia, crossing the 300 mark for the first time in T20Is. Dipendra Singh Airee was the star with a 9-ball fifty, the fastest in T20Is.
3.England – 304/2 vs South Africa, 2025
England stormed into the record books in the second T20I against South Africa at Manchester on 12 September 2025. Powered by Phil Salt’s breathtaking 141 off 60 balls and Jos Buttler’s 83 off just 30, they piled up 304 for 2 in 20 overs. This is now the third-highest team total in T20I history, making England only the second side after Zimbabwe and Nepal to cross 300.
4. India – 297/6 vs Bangladesh, 2024
India came close to the 300-run mark in Hyderabad on 6 October 2024. With Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh firing, India posted 297 for 6 against Bangladesh. It was their highest total in T20Is and the third-best overall.
5. Zimbabwe – 286/5 vs Seychelles, 2024
Just a day before setting the world record, Zimbabwe hammered 286 for 5 against Seychelles in Nairobi. It was then the second-highest T20I total ever, showing how destructive their batting lineup has become.
