Wasim Akram, Sunil Gavaskar, Sehwag – Full Asia Cup 2025 Commentary Line-Up Revealed

Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri join the commentary panel for Asia Cup 2025, while India prepares to start their campaign under Suryakumar Yadav.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong will fight for continental glory as they prepare for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The opening match will feature Afghanistan against Hong Kong. The final is scheduled at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Sony Sports Network has announced a star-studded commentary panel for the tournament. Legendary cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, and Virender Sehwag will lead the line-up.

The English commentary team will also include Sanjay Manjrekar, Robin Uthappa, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Bazid Khan, Russel Arnold, and Simon Doull.

The Hindi panel will feature Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Ajay Jadeja, Abhishek Nayar, Vivek Razdan, and Saba Karim. For regional coverage, WV Raman and Bharat Arun will join the Tamil panel. Venkatapathy Raju, Venugopal Rao, Ravi Teja, and Gnaneswara Rao will handle Telugu commentary.

India will start their campaign on September 10 under captain Suryakumar Yadav. Shubman Gill will serve as vice-captain. Gavaskar praised the team, saying:
