Ayush Mhatre Appointed As Captain of India for Australia Tour – Here’s the Full Squad!
BCCI announces India U19 squad for Australia tour starting September 21. Ayush Mhatre to lead.
The BCCI Junior Selection Committee has announced a 17-member squad for India’s Under-19 tour of Australia. The young team will play three one-day matches and two four-day games against the hosts between September 21 and October 10.
Mhatre Continues as Captain
Ayush Mhatre, who impressed as captain in the recent England tour, will once again lead the side. India had won the Youth ODI series 3-2 in England and drew both matches in the Youth Test series.
Mhatre, known for his consistent performances and leadership, will look to guide the team to another strong outing overseas.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a young batting star from Rajasthan Royals, has earned a spot in the squad after his brilliant run in age-group cricket.
Other notable names include vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, in-form batter Naman Pushpak, and Aditya Rawat. Wicketkeeping duties will be handled by Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh.

The tour begins with three Youth ODIs in Norths from September 21 to 26. It will be followed by two four-day matches, one in Norths and the other in Mackay, ending on October 10.
