The Indian all-rounder equalled a 23-year-old record set by VVS Laxman by scoring five half-centuries in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.

Jadeja, batting at No.6, has now hit fifty or more five times in this high-stakes series, matching Laxman’s mark from years ago. With this, he continues to show why he’s one of India’s most reliable red-ball performers away from home.

Jadeja’s England Numbers Shine Bright

The left-hander has crossed 1000 Test runs in England and has also picked up 30 wickets, making him one of the rare players to shine with both bat and ball in English conditions.

In the current five-match series alone, Jadeja has already scored over 400 runs. His consistent contributions with the bat have been crucial for India, especially in tough phases.

With the ball, Jadeja remains India’s go-to spinner in overseas matches, often out-bowling frontline pacers when conditions demand control and accuracy.

Strong Stand with Sundar Frustrates England

In the fourth Test, it was his partnership with Washington Sundar that stood out. The pair added unbeaten partnership of 203 runs for fifth wicket to take India towards draw.

Both Jadeja and Sundar went on to score a century as the match ended up in a draw. Earlier, captain Shubman Gill also scored a century while opener KL Rahul scored 90 runs.
