Jos Buttler Becomes Second England Batter to Reach 13,000 T20 Runs
Jos Buttler becomes 7th batter to score 13,000 T20 runs with a fifty for Lancashire in T20 Blast 2025 win over Yorkshire.
Jos Buttler has become the seventh batter in history to score over 13,000 runs in T20 cricket. The England white-ball captain reached the milestone during a Vitality T20 Blast match for Lancashire against Yorkshire on July 17.
Buttler played a classy knock, scoring a fifty that included eight boundaries and three sixes. His effort helped Lancashire beat Yorkshire by 21 runs and stay on top of the T20 Blast 2025 table.
With this, Buttler now has 13,046 runs in T20s. He is only the second Englishman to cross the 13,000-run mark, after Alex Hales.

The year 2025 has been a productive one for Buttler. He already has nine fifty-plus scores in T20s across different leagues. In the ongoing T20 Blast, he has scored 230 runs in six innings at an average of 38.33 and a strike rate of 146.50.
Lancashire are flying high in the tournament, with 36 points from 13 matches. They’ve won nine games and lost four.
