Texas Super Kings Sign Marcus Stoinis for MLC 2024

Marcus Stoinis will be representing CSK’s sister franchise Texas Super Kings in MLC 2024 season.

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has joined the Texas Super Kings for the upcoming Major League Cricket (MLC) season 2.

Marcus Stoinis had an outstanding IPL 2024 season for Lucknow. Super Giants, where he smashed a century against Chennai Super Kings to lead his team to victory single-handedly.

Interestingly, Stoinis will now be sporting the same yellow jersey, albeit for the Texas franchise – an American counterpart to the Chennai Super Kings.

Marcus Stoinis’ stint with the Texas Super Kings marks his return to the MLC after featuring for the San Francisco Unicorns last year.

The prolific all-rounder, who accumulated 388 runs with an average of 32.33 and picked up 4 wickets in IPL 2024, will be looking to replicate his success in the American T20 league.

Apart from MLC, Marcus Stoinis plays in various leagues like Big Bash League, IPL, as mentioned above, and SA20 as well.

The Texas Super Kings’ will kick off their tournament campaign in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 on 5th July against the Los Angeles Knight Riders.
